RANDY

Full-time Dog Walker / Co-Owner
Dogbiz Dog Walking Academy Certified

As a San Francisco native, I grew up surrounded by dogs. From family dogs to neighborhood dogs, I have always known how special the bond between human and pet is. I also have a real understanding in respect to just how hectic my fellow San Franciscans schedules can be. As a result of this, it isn’t always possible for people to take their dogs out for daily exercise in open spaces. With these factors taken into consideration, I decided to share in the joy that dogs bring to our lives with Dogs and Recreation. Outside of playing with my furry friends, I enjoy spending time with my family, painting, and discovering new music.

Weekend Dog Walker / Co-Owner

I have always been a passionate lover of dogs for as long as my memory extends. As an adult, I haven’t had the opportunity to have a dog of my own. To fill the void of not having a pooch, I did the next best thing...sharing the love with my friends dogs through sitting! As my dog sitting began to pick up in my friend circle, this naturally led to the progression of wanting to start a dog walking business. When I’m not playing with pups, I enjoy scuba diving, hiking, and photography.

Our Story

Dogs and Recreation unknowingly started over four years ago when friends of ours adopted a pup with special needs, Chloe. Chloe was a rescue pup that was very lucky to be adopted by two of the most caring people we know. Chloe came with tons of love and adorableness, as well as severe separation anxiety. This presented our friends with some logistical challenges. Movie nights and dinner out became difficult because Chloe would tear the house down if left to her own devices. Knowing that we are true dog lovers, they decided to start calling us for those special occasions away. As time went on, our friends began to refer us to their friends, and before we realized it, we were in business. We look forward to taking care of your fuzzy friends, whether they have special needs or are just your special little ones.
